A man who allegedly brandished a gun and made threats at a Newmarket restaurant has been arrested. Police said they began searching for Mark McLean Thursday night after receiving calls from a woman who told them she was being assaulted. They said they were grateful that members of the public kept them in the loop during their overnight search. McLean was caught Friday morning at an apartment above the Watershed restaurant after he reportedly got into a fight with a worker there. Police say he was carrying a bag of powder they believe is fentanyl.
